Ethical Management

Corporate ethics is a top priority at GS Caltex, and we are committed to conducting our business in fair and transparent way.

Business Conduct and Ethics Code

GS Caltex established the Business Conduct and Ethics Code and Standards to facilitate compliance with various laws and ethical management in the course of corporate activities. All employees adhere to the Business Conduct and Ethics Code and Standards in their business activities.

Compliance Program
GS Caltex’s Corporate Compliance Program (CCP) consists of the ‘Business Conduct and Ethics Code’ and other internal policies and procedures, compliance training and promotion programs, compliance due diligence, a reporting system, an ethical management hotline, investigation of compliance violations, monitoring and effectiveness evaluation. As part of the Corporate Compliance Programs conducted every year, ‘Basic Compliance Training’ is provided as a mandatory course for all employees, including domestic and overseas affiliates’ permanent employees, part-time employees and contractors. The training encompasses four major areas –’Compliance & Business Ethics, ‘Fair Trade’, ‘Information Security’’, and ‘Safety / Health / Environment Management Activities’.
Compliance Management Committee
GS Caltex operates the Compliance Management Committee for CCO/UCO(domestic and overseas) to manage systematic and efficient operation of GS Caltex compliance program.
Ethical Management Hotline
GS Caltex operates an ethical management hotline so employees can discuss or report work-related violations. The hotline enables early detection and correction of violations, and helps our efforts to prevent recurrences. GS Caltex guarantees the anonymity of the employee and does not tolerate any form of retaliation for reports made in good faith.
