Recycled Resin
GS Caltex’s Recycled Composite Resin applying our advanced recycling technology to upcycle waste plastics into functional plastics that fulfill customers’ needs. The recycled Resin compound accounts for over 15% of our total Polymer compound production.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification : GRS is the standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials across the entire production process, from the source of raw materials to the final product. (Certifiable recycled material content rate: 20~100%)
GreenDiol
GreenDiol is the name of our all-natural 2,3-Butaneodiol (2,3-BDO) made from non-GMO biomass and microorganisms using a 100% bio-based production process that preserves the natural ecosystem. GreenDiol is used in cosmetics thanks to its superior moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects, dispersion quality of active ingredients, and smooth texture.
Ecocert COSMOS (COSMetic Organic and natural Standard) certification : The France-based European organic cosmetic standard requires minimum 95% of ingredients to be of natural origin and at least 20% to be organic. COSMOS integrates multiple industry standards for natural cosmetics and thus a COSMOS certification indicates the product satisfies a diverse range of requirements.
Korea Agency of Vegan Certification and Services’ vegan certification : The certification is given when no animal ingredients have been used in the entire production process nor were animals used in product testing. Additionally, the certified product must be animal DNA-free and only contain ingredients of natural origin, with the exception of ingredients produced through chemical synthesis.
USDA Certified Biobased Product certification : The USDA Certified Biobased Product label indicates USDA-approved bio products derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. They provide an alternative to conventional petroleum-derived products.
Kixx BIO1
Kixx BIO1 is an bio-based, high-performance synthetic engine oil that minimizes impact on the environment while maximizing performance. Made from 100% plant-derived bio base oil, it contributes to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions while providing superior protection against engine wear.
USDA Certified Biobased Product certification : The USDA Certified Biobased Product label indicates USDA-approved bio products derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. They provide an alternative to conventional petroleum-derived products.
Kixx Chain BIO
Kixx Chain BIO is an advanced biodegradable chainsaw oil composed of 98% bio-based carbon content. This product provides a low level of ecotoxicity and bioaccumulation. Additionally, it possesses a very high level of biodegradability, minimizing the environmental impact caused by oil leakage during logging operations.
EU Ecolabel : European Union's eco-certification label. This is a certification system that is granted only to products in which the entire process, from production to disposal, is carried out using environmentally acceptable methods.
Kixx RD BIO
Kixx RD BIO is an advanced biodegradable hydraulic fluid composed of 82% bio-based carbon content. This product provides a low level of ecotoxicity and bioaccumulation. Additionally, it possesses a very high level of biodegradability, minimizing the environmental impact when hydraulic equipment operates in environmentally sensitive areas such as rivers, forests, and ports.
